Pumpkin Pie, Duh!
Otis got an infection on his foot a few weeks ago. He's fine, but I'm 130 bucks lighter. I don't know how he go it, but it didn't seem to even bother him. I noticed he had been licking his foot a lot over a weekend and when he walked by, I saw it was red and puffy. The vet wrapped it and put a purple cover on the bandages that had smiley faces on it. He seemed to like that. The moral of the story is, if you have an injury, tell (or show) someone and have it treated by a professional. Licking the wound DOES NOT WORK! Below are some photos. The hairy "hobbit" foot (as my pal Mike calls them) belongs to me. The can Otis is chewing on once held cat food. Also, there is a nice close up of his Halloween collar. It has bats that glow in the dark!
How are you celebrating Halloween today?
Listening to the Memphis Grizzlies opener on the radio.
Would you go on vacation by yourself, and if so where would you go?

Darn Tootin'! Anywhere.
Did you see the Harry Potter movie this weekend? Are you going to read the new book?
No, and no. I might see the movies one day. I hate to sound like a snob, but I hardly ever read fiction. Non-fiction is so much more interesting and amazing, but there are no wizards or elves.
What's the oldest thing in your fridge?
A bottle of Chocolate milk from a Mennonite dairy outside of Jackson, TN. I think it expired in Jan. It has separated in a way that I have never seen before. I need to get rid of it so I can get my dollar deposit on the bottle back, but I am scared to touch it. Sad, sad, sad.
What's your favorite card game?
Spades. Me and a friend in HS used to play for money in PE class. We were a force to be reckoned with. We once had an opponent try to buy into a $2 game with food stamps. We said no. I should have taken him up on it. Since they stopped making them, one day they might be worth something. Drat.
Do you consider yourself a patriotic person? Why or why not?
Yes, because I recycle and NEVER vote Republican. Oh yeah, and I root for the USA in world competitions of sports I care nothing about like soccer and curling.

He wasn't quite sure what to make of it. This is his "can we go in now?'" look. read more
